Telepathic Judas ~ Blog

July 5th, 2025

This post is 2 days late, my b. Currently it is 11:21 AM, Kyle is driving my Honda 2024 HRV in Tennessee because I cannot drive out-of-state (due to anxiety, not legality). Blue Shell is currently on our 3rd tour. Dylon, our drummer for the past couple of months has never been on tour and he made a really sweet post on Facebook about being close to 30 and being excited to go on tour, it’s weird how age and going on tour plays a factor. Olive (our old drummer) said the same thing when we went on our first tour. This is my 3rd tour, amen. Dylon is currently head banging. Currently, I am wedged between my buddy Ryan (who recorded bass for Fear and Loathing) and my friend Von who is doing photography this weekend, here is a picture of me and Von:

Last night we played at Jimmies Place, which is the bar from Blog Entry #1

SIDE NOTE: sorry about the filler txt for Blog Entry #2 that was where me and Seth recorded all the scratch tracks for TJ, there was not much to note on that day we recorded other than when I left I had a headache, multiple nosebleeds, and my allergies became awful that evening.

Jimmies Place is a nice bar and it exists, it was a WV Hardcore Show which meant we had a decent turn out of like 20-30 ppl. I brought a date, her name was Dawn and she is very pretty. Her and my friend Ryans girlfriend hit it off really well which was sweet. We had a good time with all of the bands, also I got to take a nap before hand. Other than that I finished my 30 day workout from Millionaire Hoy and took my mom out to China One in Sophia, as pictured here:

As for July 3rd, me and Dave recorded overdubs for Serial Monogamist. It went very well and we used a lot of instrumentation Ive always strived to use before - specifically overblown NMH / Microphone-esque distortion on the course and weird percussion freakouts towards the end with midi bongos (see Through The Wire or Slow Jamz prod. Kanye for an example of said midi bongos). There is also a sample from File 144 from the PS2 Lain Game I am excited for, because it sounds really weird and interesting, the song needs to be mixed and background vocals (which I may try to get my mom to sing on). Interesting note, the line “you faded like a teardrop that hit upon the ground”, should actually be “you faded like a teardrop that hit the dry ground” and my mom recently remember that line from a song she wrote when she was a kid. Other than that, I’m very excited for the song, I hope the song will point out some ideas about cringe culture relating to love and overall being, as well as noting dumb movie ideas that people take on in their relationships. That shiz sucks, Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind wouldve been a lot shorter if Joel and Clementine lifted 200 pounds below parallel instead of giving themselves brain damage.
